Guangzhou Knowledge City, over ¥1m a year in R&D
The Sealion R&D centre sits in Guangzhou Knowledge City with development equipment and an analysis and test platform drawn from both domestic and overseas suppliers. The company puts over one million yuan a year into R&D, works closely with a number of Chinese universities and research institutes, and retains several well-known specialists as technical advisers to the engineering centre. Sealion has been awarded National High-Tech Enterprise status in consecutive assessments.
Solutions
A complete automation package for cable, pipe and film extrusion: one screen to run the line, production data stored and analysed, pushed through to the customer's ERP, and every machine visible remotely.
Quality control
Sheet-metal machining centre, CNC machines and a dedicated inspection department in house. Circuit boards are developed in house and every one is put through constant temperature and humidity testing so it holds up in hot, damp conditions. The underlying algorithms are our own, which is where the control accuracy comes from.
Pre-sales consulting
Every product line has its own pre-sales engineer to advise on configuration and answer questions.
Product testing
Components pass constant temperature and humidity testing, burn-in and full-unit testing before anything leaves the works.
