Φ2–50mm — sheath thickness without cutting a sample
The small-bore system covers Φ2–50mm, measuring sheath wall, outer diameter and eccentricity without contact. Cable, medical tubing and fine bore products — things you cannot keep sampling — are exactly its case: drift is visible as it starts, not after the drum is wound.
What the small-tube gauge is
The SL-Ultrascan series is a dedicated product for on-line thickness measurement of small-diameter pipes and cables, applying the same ultrasonic principle to measure OD, thickness, eccentricity and ovality in real time, with data storage and report generation.
Suitable for medical catheters, wires and cables, pipes and automotive oil pipes. It measures wall thickness of 0.18–10mm across a 2–50mm diameter range. Its original auto-adjusting structure automatically adapts to different bore sizes, and the probe centres and follows on-line, ensuring accurate, efficient and stable detection.
Main functions
Model range (small tube) SL-Ultrascan
| Model | OD range (mm) | Thickness (mm) | Probes |
|---|---|---|---|
| SL-Ultrascan10 | Φ2-10 | 0.18-3 | 4 |
| SL-Ultrascan20 | Φ10-20 | 0.5-5 | 4 |
| SL-Ultrascan50 | Φ20-50 | 1-10 | 4 |
Where it is used
Medical catheter, cable, small-bore tubing and automotive oil pipe — extrusion lines where the bore is narrow and wall and geometry have to be exact.
Software & data capability
The same Sealion ultrasonic software as the large-pipe system, turning readings into production data you can query, export and trace.
